Join Jasmin Wagner, Instructor of German in the Language and Culture Studies Department, for the film screening of Victoria. Victoria, the Best Fiction Film at the 2015 German Film Awards and nominee for Best Sound Design,“is undeniably impressive as the single take production is described as a kinetic, frenetic, sense-swamping rollercoaster ride.” Victoria, directed by Sebastian Schipper, “follows the eponymous Victoria, a Spanish party girl looking for thrills who hits the town with four Berlin locals. But their night of partying takes a wrong turn and they end up taking part in a bank robbery,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
