“Experiential Chinese Learning”

Nihao! Come and experience the most widely spoken language with the Confucius Institute. This one-hour experiential Mandarin Chinese lesson will contain the basics of Pinyin, the phonetic system of Chinese, and a couple of phrases used in daily greetings and short sentences on hobbies. Taught by experienced native speakers, this lesson will give you a good overview of Chinese language. At the end of the lesson, you will also experience the basic strokes of the authentic Chinese calligraphy, as well as the unique charm of Chinese plum-blossom painting using straws.

The Confucius Institute at UNC Charlotte is established to promote the learning of Chinese language and culture and to build connections between Charlotte and China.
